Location is superb. Its just 1 minute walk to Xi Hu (Westlake) and its beside lots of cafes, restaurants and fast food. Also, just beside shopping and there is a big H&M store close by. There are even food stores that open till midnight for supper lovers. Starbucks, Macdonalds, KFC, and much more are all very easily reached. Of course the best part is its proximity to the famous Xi Hu which makes touring around very easy. As for the hotel room itself, it is very clean, new and exceeded my expectations. The design is new and classy, and maintenance is top-notch. I love the toilet, there is a huge standing shower and ample space to put your toiletries. There is also free hair dryer and multiple rolls of toilet paper provided. The toilet is very new and clean.I thoroughly enjoy bathing in the toilet. Warm water is available all the time. The hotels walkway into the room is also very swanky and new. (See pictures). The beds are very comfortable and new. The cleaning staff are very disciplined. Even though we offered a tip to him, he strongly refused it. Even if we leave some money below the pillow (common practice in China to give tips to the cleaning staff), he has never taken it. A lot of people may mention that the hotels receptionists are not friendly but I disagree. Of course, dont ask them directions when they are busy with other customers or very late at night, you can expect them to be tired. Other than that, I have found great help with the receptionists. For those who need to book buses to other cities, old cities,the famous Impressions West Lake performance and other tours, there is a tour company just beside the front desk at the lobby. We have been able to book affordable bus rides and tours through them. As for the price of the hotel, it is a superbly good deal for such a good room and location. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Hangzhou and me and my family and friends loved our stay at Renhe Hotel Hangzhou.
